Throughout my life--to this day--I have always been more on the side of the instrumentals in any song (despite genre) than the lyrics. TBH idk why. It's probably because I'm so taken by the sounds that it's hard to pay attention to words.

Regarding hip hop, there are some lyrical masterpieces that I resonate with deeply. Man on the Moon: The End of Day is my favorite hip hop album because of its lyrics and how I connect with them.
