I feel like progress is defined differently for other people. It depends on expectations. Do you expect to be a rock star, or are you looking to have fun while making music?

When I made my first iMovie, it was crap. My iMovie-making skills are still crap, but they were better than before and I have fun while doing them from time-to-time.

It's all about having fun and learning from it.
