Stop Making Fun of New Year’s Resolutions

I used to be more self-righteous and say “oh, I don’t need to make a New Year’s resolution when I can make a change at any time of the year.”

But the reality is that we, the beings of Planet Earth (and maybe Space in the future), have successfully survived an entire ride around the sun!

If we can ride around the sun, we can certainly set goals and do the things we need to do daily to make our goals into gradually achieved realities.

And the reality is that it’s a lot easier to work towards our goals when many in our surroundings are also doing the same.

Setting New Year’s resolutions isn’t something to make fun of.

It’s something to respect and use to empower ourselves as capable individuals who can become even more capable.

We all have the power to change and while it’s true that we can change at any moment, the easiest time to change is when you see everyone else trying their best to do the same.

May the year of 2024 be one of prosperity, growth, and learning.

❤️,
Noah
