So much to dissect from this essay! Here are some of the parts that intrigued me:

- Your analysis of the phone paparazzi and celebrities needing to look/act normal. The irony I found in this snippet of the essay is that for your job, your best comment on working with a celebrity is how normal they were. I found it ironic because we tell ourselves that they're just normal people, then we get surprised when they are normal people.

- Young women and fandom. This is quite the original argument. Why are we so dismissive of what young girls like when what they like can be, let's say, the Beatles?
