Hmm, that’s a great question. I have a lot of favorite books, but one that I’m reading right now that is very relevant is called Fanocracy by David Meerman Scott and Reiko Scott. It argues that business relationships don’t have to be ‘business-ee’, per se. You can develop personal relationships with your customers based on that personal connection. In which they like you so much that they turn into your fans. They organically talk about your biz, and that’s how you can grow your base.
Although it’s a business book and not a personal development book, for example, it’s still up there as one of my favorites because it genuinely argues for the human connection in business.
